Bangladesh’s stocks open positive

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN) – Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) saw positive trend in early hours of trading on Wednesday.

DSEX, the prime index of the DSE went up by 20.63 points or 0.45 per cent to stand at 4,583.60 points after first 30 minutes of trade when the report was filled at 11am.

DSE turnover value stands at BDT 556 million when the report was filed at 11am. Of the issues traded till then, 126 advanced, 60 declined and 26 remained unchanged.

The port city bourse – the CSE also saw upward trend at opening with its Selective Category Index — CSCX gained 22.85 points to stand at 8,803.40 points, also at 11am.

Of the issues traded till then, 44 gained, 28 declined and 5 remained unchanged with a turnover value of BDT 33.05 million.
