Bangladesh’s stocks open positive

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)-Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) saw positive trend in early hours of trading on Thursday.

DSEX, the prime index of the DSE, went up by 20.05 points or 0.43 percent to stand at 4,595.55 points after first 30 minutes of trade when the report was filled at 11:00am.

DSE turnover value stands at BDT 436 million till the time.

Of the issues traded, 110 advanced, 36 declined and 25 remained unchanged.

The port city bourse – the CSE - also saw upward trend at opening with its Selective Category Index-CSCX- gained 21.34 points to stand at 8,828.47 points.

Of the issues traded, 28 gained, 16 declined and 10 remained unchanged with a turnover value of BDT 20.95 million.
