Bangladesh’s stocks open positive

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)- The Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) witnessed positive trend in early hours of trading on Sunday, the opening session of the week.
DSEX, the prime index of the DSE went up by 18.93 points or 0.40 percent to stand at 4,661.31 points after first 30 minutes of trade when the report was filed at 11am.
The DS30 index, comprising blue chips advanced 6.85 points or 0.38 percent to reach at 1,765.09 points. The DSE Shariah Index (DSES) gained 5.39 points or 0.49 percent to stands at 1,094.32 points.  
DSE turnover stands at BDT 668 million when the report was filed at 11am.
Of the issues traded till then, 155 advanced, 25 declined and 36 issues remain unchanged.
BSRM Steels was the most traded stocks with shares worth BDT 48 million changing hands till then followed by ACI, ACI Formulation, Saiham Textile and NJL BD.
The port city bourse – the CSE also saw positive trend in early hour with its Selective Category Index -- CSCX – gained 27.07 points to stand at 8,752.32 points, also at 11am.
Of the issues traded till then, 57 gained, 25 declined and 8 remained unchanged with a turnover value of BDT 36 million.
