Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN) – Bangladesh’s stocks saw positive trend in early hour of trading on Monday, the second session of the week.
DSEX, the prime index of the DSE, went up by 8.66 points or 0.18 percent to reach at 4,623.86, after first 30 minutes of trade, when the report was filed at 11:00am.
The DS30 index, comprising blue chips, gained 3.73 points or 0.20 percent to stand at 1,814.93.
The DSE Shariah Index (DSES) advanced 3.89 points or 0.34 percent to stand at 1,140.17.
DSE turnover stands at only BDT 956 million when the report was filed at 11:00am.
Of the issues traded till then, 109 advanced, 86 declined and 48 issues remained unchanged.
ACI Limited was the most traded stocks with shares worth BDT 216 million changing hands followed by GP, Lafarge Surma Cement, RAK Ceramics and ACI Formulations.
The port city bourse – the CSE – also saw positive trend in early hour of trading with its Selective Category Index – CSCX – gained 19.45 points to stand at 8,664.70, also at 11:00am.
Of the issues traded till then, 53 gained, 39 declined and 18 issues remained unchanged with a turnover value of BDT 73 million.
