Bangladesh’s stocks open positive

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)- The prices of most of the shares on the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) saw positive trend in early hours of trading on Sunday.
 

DSEX, the prime index of the DSE went up by 3.55 points or 0.07 per cent to stand at 4,562.48 points after first 30 minutes of trade at 11am.
 

DSE Shariah Index (DSES) gained 2.22 points or 0.22 per cent to stands at 991.69 points. The DS30 index, comprising blue chips advanced 4.05 points or 0.24 per cent to reach at 1,639.43 points.
 

DSE turnover stands at only BDT 212 million when the report was filed at 11am. Of the issues traded till then, 109 advanced, 40 declined and 28 remained unchanged.
 

The port city bourse – the CSE also witnessed positive trend with its Selective Category Index --- CSCX gained 18.34 points or 0.21 per cent to stand at 8,877.39 points, also at 11am.
 

Of the issues traded till then, 35 gained, 13 declined and 17 remained unchanged with a turnover value of BDT 46 million.
