Bangladesh’s stocks open red

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)-Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) saw negative trend in early hours of trading on Tuesday.

DSEX, the prime index of the DSE went down by 13.67 points or 0.29 percent to stand at 4,611.08 points after first 30 minutes of trade when the report was filled at 11am.

DSE turnover stands at BDT 457 million when the report was filed at 11am. Of the issues traded till then, 66 advanced, 101 declined and 28 remained unchanged.

The port city bourse – the CSE also saw negative trend at opening with its Selective Category Index --- CSCX lost 8.16 points to stand at 8,894.20 points, also at 11:00am.

Of the issues traded till then, 24 gained, 39 declined and 7 remained unchanged with a turnover value of BDT 36.19 million.
