Bangladesh’s stocks open with a positive mood

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN): The prices of most stocks on the bourses— the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) witnessed upward trend at early hours on Sunday, the first trading session of the week.
 
The General Index of the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSEX) went up by 26.75 points within first 30 minutes of trading at 11am to stand at 4,326.41 points when the report was filed.

Of the issues traded then, 182 advanced, 16 and 14 remained unchanged.

Turnover on at DSE stood at BDT 680 million till the report was filed at 11am.

Orion Pharma was most traded stocks with shares worth BDT 105 million changing hands till then.

The Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) also opened with a positive note with the Selective Category Index of the CSE gained 28.07 points to stand at 8,057.55 points also at 11am.

Of the issues traded then, 46 advanced, 10 declined and 17 remained unchanged.
