Bangladesh’s stocks open with a positive mood

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN): The prices of most stocks on the bourses— the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) opened with a positive trend amid slight volatility on Monday.

The General Index of the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSEX) went up by 11.02 points within first 30 minutes of trading to stand at 3,827 points at 11am when the report was filed.

Of the issues traded then, 116 advanced, 47 declined and 30 remained unchanged.

Turnover on at DSE stood at BDT 380 million till the report was filed at 11am.

Summit Purbanchol Power Company is the most traded stocks with shares worth BDT 48 million changing hands till then.

The Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) opened with a positive trend with the Selective Category Index of the CSE gained 14.76 to stand at 7187.37 also at 11am.

Of the issues traded then, 42 advanced, 37 declined and 4 remained unchanged.
