Bangladesh’s stocks open with mix trend

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN): The prices of most stocks on the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) opened with mixed trend volatility amid von Wednesday amid countrywide hartal.

The General Index of the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSEX) went up by 1.06 points amid fluctuation within first one hour of trading to stand at 3,663.47 points at 11.30am when the report was filed.

Of the issues traded then, 92 advanced, 66 declined and 43 remained unchanged.

Turnover on the DSE turnover stood at BDT 262 million till the report was filed at 11.30am.

Bengal Windsor topped the turnover chart with shares worth BDT 35.47 million changing hands till then.

The Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) opened with a mixed trend with the Selective Category Index of the CSE lost 22.47 points to stand at 6,937 also at 11.30am.

Of the issues traded then, 32 advanced, 49 declined and 7 remained unchanged.
