Bangladesh’s stocks open with mix trend

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN): Trading at the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) opened with a mix trend amid volatility on Monday.

The General Index of the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSEX) went up by only 1.19 points within first 30 minutes of trading to stand at 3,622 points at 11am when the report was filed.

However, DSEX lost 7.19 points to stand at 3,447 while DS30 dropped 2.15 points to stand at 1,284 points.

Of the issues traded then, 50 advanced, 68 declined and 29 remained unchanged.

Turnover on the DSE turnover stood at BDT 102 million till the report was filed at 11am.

Unique Hotel and Resorts was the topped turnover chart with shares worth BDT 8.83 million changing hands till then.

The Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) opened with a negative trend with the Selective Category Index of the CSE lost 38 points to stand at 6,781 also at 11am.
Of the issues traded then, 14 advanced, 44 declined and 7 remained unchanged.
