Bangladesh’s stocks open with mix trend

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN): The Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) opened with a mixed trend at early hours on Sunday, the first trading session of the week.
 
The General Index of the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSEX) went up slightly by 3.59 points within first 30 minutes of trading at 11am to stand at 4,429 points when the report was filed.

Of the issues traded then, 72 advanced, 95 declined and 16 remained unchanged.

Turnover on at DSE stood at BDT 804 million till the report was filed at 11am.

Meghna Petroleum was the most traded stocks with shares worth BDT 104 million changing hands till then.

The Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) opened with a negative note with the Selective Category Index of the CSE lost 19 points to stand at 8,134 points also at 11am.

Of the issues traded then, 22 advanced, 67 declined and 8 remained unchanged.
