Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN): The prices of most stocks on the two bourses— the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) opened with a negative trend on Sunday, the first trading day of the week.

The General Index of the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSEX) went down by 6.26 points within first 30 minutes of trading to stand at 3,648.58 points at 11am when the report was filed.

Of the issues traded then, 69 advanced, 62 declined and 16 remained unchanged.

Turnover on the DSE turnover stood at BDT 112 million till the report was filed at 11am.

Olympic Industries was the topped turnover chart with shares worth BDT 28.53 million changing hands till then.

The Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) opened with a negative trend with the Selective Category Index of the CSE lost 20.42 points to stand at 6,808.63 also at 11am.

Of the issues traded then, 16 advanced, 33 declined and 15 remained unchanged.
