Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN): The prices of most stocks on the bourses— the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) witnessed upward trend at early hours on Tuesday, maintaining the previous session’s uptrend.
The General Index of the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSEX) went up by 45 points within first 30 minutes of trading at 11am to stand at 4,312 points when the report was filed.
Of the issues traded then, 159 advanced, 29 declined and 19 remained unchanged.
Turnover on at DSE stood at BDT 777 million till the report was filed at 11am.
Unique Hotel and Resorts is the most traded stocks with shares worth BDT 77 million changing hands till then.
The Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) also opened with a positive note with the Selective Category Index of the CSE gained 42 points to stand at 7,933 points also at 10.45am.
Of the issues traded then, 64 advanced, 19 declined and 7 remained unchanged.
