Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN): The prices of most stocks on the bourses— the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) gained at the opening hours on Tuesday amid slight fluctuation.
The General Index of the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSEX) went up by 11.25 points within first 30 minutes of trading at 11am to stand at 4,108 points when the report was filed.
Of the issues traded then, 131 advanced, 53 declined and 23 remained unchanged.
Turnover on at DSE stood at BDT 698 million till the report was filed at 11am.
Unique Hotel and Resorts is the most traded stocks with shares worth BDT 56 million changing hands till then.
The Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) opened with a positive trend with the Selective Category Index of the CSE gained 78 to stand at 7,706 points also at 11am.
Of the issues traded then, 50 advanced, 34 declined and 7 remained unchanged.
