Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN): The prices of most stocks on the bourses— the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) witnessed mixed trend at early hours on Sunday, the first trading session of the week.
The General Index of the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSEX) went up by 43.74 points amid fluctuation within first 30 minutes of trading at 11am to stand at 4,473.38 points when the report was filed.
Of the issues traded then, 133 advanced, 32 declined and 18 remained unchanged.
Turnover on at DSE stood at BDT 650 million till the report was filed at 11am.
BSCCL is the most traded stocks with shares worth BDT 112 million changing hands till then.
The Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) opened with a positive note with the Selective Category Index of the CSE gained 47.27 points to stand at 8,333.85 points also at 11am.
Of the issues traded then, 49 advanced, 16 declined and 9 remained unchanged.
