Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN): The Dhaka Stock Exchange and Chittagong Stock Exchange opened with a positive note on Monday, maintaining the previous session’s uptrend mood.
The DSE Broad Index— DSEX gained 15.87 points to stand at 4,140 points within first 30 minutes of trade at 11am.
Of the issues traded then, 140 gained, 93 declined and 19 remained unchanged till the report was filed at 11am.
Turnover value stood at Tk 927 million since then with BSCCL was the top turnover chart with shares worth Tk 84 million changing hands.
The port city bourse also opened with positive with its Selective Category Index gained 4.16 points to stand at 8,047 points till 11am.
Of the issues traded then, 72 advanced, 50 declined and 12 remained unchanged with Tk 67 million turnover value at 11am.
