Bangladesh’s stocks open with positive mood

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN): Share price index at the country’s both bourses –Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) –-opened with a positive trend on Wednesday.

The DSE benchmark index, DSEX gained 18.25 points to reach 4048.35 points at 11am. Of the issues traded till then, 139 gained, 67 declined and 30 remained unchanged.

Turnover value stood at BDT 372 million till then with BSCCL topped the turnover chart with shares worth BDT 34 million changing hands at 11am when the report was filed.

The CSE key index, CSCX also gained 25.71 points to stand at 7897 points, also at 11am. Of the issues traded till then, 51 gained, 44 declined and 13remained unchanged with Tk 35 million turnover value.
