Bangladesh’s stocks open with positive mood

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN): Share price index at the country’s both bourses –Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) –-opened with a positive mood on Tuesday, the third trading day of the week.

The DSE benchmark index, DSEX went up by 15.44 points to reach 3,953.13 points at 11am. Of the issues traded till then, 149 gained, 32 declined and 17 remained unchanged.

Turnover value stood at BDT 300 million till then with Delta Life Insurance topped the turnover chart with shares worth BDT 43 million changing hands at 11am when the report was filed.

The CSE key index, CSCX also gained 39.95 points to stand at 7,714.01 points, also at 11am. Of the issues traded till then, 60 gained, 16 declined and 17 remained unchanged with Tk 24 million turnover value.
