Bangladesh’s stocks open with positive trend amid volatility

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN): The prices of most stocks on the bourses--- the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) witnessed mixed trend at early hours on Thursday, the last trading session of the week.
 
The General Index of the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSEX) went up slightly by 1.34 points amid fluctuation within first 30 minutes of trading at 11am to stand at 4,478.43 points when the report was filed.

Of the issues traded then, 97 advanced, 83 and 38 remained unchanged.

Turnover on at DSE stood at BDT 978 million till the report was filed at 11am.

Square Pharma is the most traded stocks with shares worth BDT 112 million changing hands till then.

The Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) opened with a positive note with the Selective Category Index of the CSE gained 24 points to stand at 8,339 points also at 11am.

Of the issues traded then, 53 advanced, 55 declined and 17 remained unchanged.
