Bangladesh’s stocks see mix trend

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN): Share price index at the country’s both bourses –Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) –-opened with a mixed trend on Wednesday, the fourth trading day of the week.

The DSE benchmark index, DSEX went up by slightly by 7.65 points to reach 3,936.14 points at 11.30am. Of the issues traded till then, 182 gained, 50 declined and 17 remained unchanged.

Turnover value stood at BDT 589 million till then with Argon Denim topped the turnover chart with shares worth BDT 32 million changing hands at 11.30am when the report was filed.

The CSE key index, CSCX also lost 13 points to stand at 7,657 points, also at 11.30am. Of the issues traded till then, 79 gained, 40 declined and 13 remained unchanged with Tk 49 million turnover value.
