Bangladesh’s stocks see uptrend at opening

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN): Share price index at the country’s both bourses –Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) –-opened with a positive mood on Sunday, the opening day of the week.

The DSE benchmark index, DSEX gained 3.96 points to reach 4101.67 points at 11am. Of the issues traded till then, 123 gained, 55 declined and 29 remained unchanged.

Turnover value stood at BDT 452 million till then with CMC Kamal topped the turnover chart with shares worth BDT 55 million changing hands at 11am when the report was filed.

The CSE key index, CSCX also gained 23 points to stand at 8006 points, also at 11am on Sunday. Of the issues traded till then, 64 gained, 26 declined and 13 remained unchanged.
