Bangladesh’s tax returns deadline now Nov 2

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)-The National Board of Revenue (NBR) has extended the deadline for submitting income tax returns for the current year till November 2.
Earlier, the last date of submitting the tax was September 30.

The NBR authorities are expected to issue a circular on the new timeline Thursday evening.
The extension came following a demand from leading business chambers and different tax bar associations as two major religious festivals one for Muslims and another for Hindus (Eid-ul-Azha and Durga Puja) is goinging to be celebrated in early October.
