Bangladesh’s Wasfia completes 7 summit record

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)-Wasfia Nazreen, National Geographic Adventurer and youngest Bangladeshi Everest summiteers, scaled the mountain peaks of all the seven continents also known as the seven summits.
Wasfia successfully reached the summit of Carstensz Pyramid, highest mountain of the Australasia/Oceania continent, announced Korvi Rakshand, a spokesperson for Bangladesh on Seven Summits.
She reached the summit point of the Papuan territory at 10:19am on November 18 with her Indonesian friend Joshua Noya.

Wasfia launched her expedition to the seven peaks of the world on July 3, 2011 under the campaign “Bangladesh on Seven Summits” in celebration of 40 years of the country’s independence.
