Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN) – As a part of its corporate social responsibility, Bank Asia Limited provided higher studies scholarship to 42 insolvent meritorious students of Ishwardi upazila of Pabna, Tarail and Bhoirab upazilas of Kishoreganj and Jagannathpur upazila of Sunamganj district on Saturday.
Mohammed Roshangir, Deputy Managing Director of Bank Asia, handed over the scholarship money to 24 students at Ishwardi while Humaira Azam, deputy managing director, to 4 students at Bhoirab, Nasirul Hussain, SEVP, to 11 students at Tarail and Abdul Wadud, upazila Nirbahi Officer of the upazila, to 3 students at Jagannathpur respectively, the bank said.
