Bank of England keeps key rate unchanged

London, England (BBN)– The Bank of England (BOE) left its key interest rate unchanged at 0.5 percent for the sixth month running on Thursday and said it would keep it 175 billion Pound asset buying program in place.

The Bank of Canada is also expected to keep its key at a record low level in its meeting on Thursday, according to reports.
