Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)– Bangladesh Bank (BB) in-house developed and implemented eTender system has received international IEOM award.
The 3rd International Conference 2012 on Industrial Engineering and Operations Management (IEOM) at Istanbul, Turkey organized by American Lawrence Technological University has given the award, a central bank statement said on Tuesday.
The BB eTender system has become the best track paper in the E-Business and E-Commerce track among 23 other tracks.
The conference took place during 3-6 Julyat Istanbul Technical University, Turkey. Mohammad Rahat Uddin, Systems Analyst and S. M. Tofayel Ahmed, Programmer of Bangladesh Bank have received the award on July 4 last.
Renowned researchers from 59 countries including US, UK, Germany, South Korea, Hong Kong, India have participated in the conference, according to the statement.
