BB governor returns home Monday

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)– Bangladesh Bank (BB) Governor Atiur Rahman will return home Monday after completing his Brazil, Canada and the USA tour.

The central bank chief attended an event of United Nations Conference on Sustainable Development 2012 (Rio+20) from June 16-22 in Brazil.

He also took part in the event of “Redefining Central Banking: Financial Stability, Early Intervention and Crisis Preparedness” from June 24-28 in Canada.

Later the BB governor was present in the event of “Financial Inclusion, Productive Capacity and Youth Employment” and other events from June 29-30 in the USA.
