Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)- The Bangladesh Bank (BB) injected BDT 47.86 billion through providing liquidity support to the banks on Thursday, officials said.
Twenty six primary dealer (PD) and non-PD banks of 3-day tenor amounting total of BDT 47.8592 billion were provided as Liquidity Support Facility. The rate of interest of the Liquidity Support Facility was 7.25 percent per annum.
On the other hand, the central bank of Bangladesh withdrew BDT 2.65 billion using its reverse REPO auction on the same day.
Two bids of 3-day tenor amounting total of BDT 2.65 billion were received and all the bids were accepted. The rate of interest of Reverse Repo was 5.25 percent.
