Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN) - The Bangladesh Bank (BB) injected fresh fund worth BDT 19.16 billion through liquidity support to the banks on Wednesday, officials said.
Fourteen primary dealer (PD) and non-PD banks of 1-day tenor amounting total of BDT 19.1648 billion were provided as Liquidity Support Facility. The rate of interest of the Liquidity Support Facility was 7.25 percent.
On the other hand, the central bank withdrew BDT 10.03 billion from the market using its reverse REPO auction on the same day.
Three bids of 1-day tenor amounting total of BDT 10.03 billion were received and all the bids were accepted. The rate of interest of reverse REPO was 5.25 percent.
