Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)– The central bank of Bangladesh on Sunday released a new banknote of BDT 50 denomination with the portrait of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman in it, the central bank said.
On the back of the banknote, ‘Moi Deya’ Jolrong, Shilpacharya Zainul Abedin will be written in place of ‘Moi Deya’ Jol Rong Chitro, Shilpi Zainul Abedin, the Bangladesh Bank (BB), the country’s central bank, said in a statement.
All other security features of the banknote remain unaltered, it added.
