Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)- Bangladesh Bank will announce its half-yearly monetary policy for the January-June period of the fiscal year (FY) 2012-13 on January 31.
Bangladesh Bank (BB) Dr Atiur Rahman will announce the policy at a press conference at the central bank Jahangir Alam conference hall at 3:00 pm, a senior BB official said on Wednesday.
Meanwhile, the central bank chief has held a series of meetings with economists, bankers, former governors, trade body leaders and other stakeholders to finalize the policy.
