BBIN friendship rally crosses over to Bangladesh

Agartala, India (BBN)-The four-nation Bangladesh, Bhutan, India and Nepal (BBIN) friendship car rally safely crossed the India-Bangladesh border on Saturday with 77 participants through South Tripura.
Tripura chief secretary Y P Singh sent off the rally in India at the State Guest House of Agartala, reports the TNN.
The rally moved across Agartala and travelled about 100km before it reached Poshuram at Belonia.
The rally is scheduled to travel to Chittagong, Dhaka and Jessor of Bangladesh for the next three days.
The rally will reach Kolkata via Benapole Checkpost of West Bengal on December 2 covering 4,223 km, said Ramesh Mahapatra, an organizer.
The cars, carrying delegates from the four nations, entered Tripura through Churaibari on Friday evening and reached Agartala late in the night.
The rally skipped Nepal due to political tension in some areas.
