Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN) – The two-day ‘11th Bangladesh China, India and Myanmar (BCIM) Forum’ will begin at Brac Centre Inn in Dhaka on February 23, aiming to promote regional cooperation and integration among its member countries.
Foreign Minister Dr Dipu Moni is expected to be present at the inaugural session as the chief guest. 
Ten meetings of the Forum have so far been held by rotation in the four participating countries hosted by the focal institutions concerned in each country.
Centre for Policy Dialogue (CPD), a civil society think-tank, was one of the founding partners of the initiative. 
The previous meetings discussed cooperation among BCMIM countries in each area as trade and industry, connectivity, energy, water sharing, tourism, environment, education, health and media.
A distinctive feature of the Dhaka Forum is that it will coincide with Kolkata to Kunming (K2K) Car Rally which will pass through Bangladesh at the time. 
The delegates at the forthcoming Dhaka meeting will include representatives from academia, business community and civil society, high level government officials from the participating countries. The CPD will accord a reception to the rally participants.
