Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)- Industrialist and Managing Director of Anwar Group of Industries Manwar Hossain has been elected unanimously the Chairman of Bangladesh Finance and Investment Company Limited (BD Finance) at its 148th board meeting held in the city recently.
Mr Hossain started his business career as a director of Anwar Group of Industries in 1993. He did his BBA and MBA from USA. As a well-known businessman he contributed towards development of the country's industrialization. He is also engaged with many social welfare organizations.
Mr Hossain is a director of Bangladesh Commerce Bank Limited and also the director of Anwar Landmark, AG Automobiles, Anwar Ispat Limited and Anwar Silk Mills Limited.
