BDT gains ground against USD

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN) – The Bangladesh Taka (BDT) gained some ground against the Greenback in last week’s trading, treasury officials said.

The US Dollar (USD)/BDT started the week trading around 74.74 – 74.75 levels and remained steady throughout the week, with only 0.01 Taka per USD downward movement of the lower limit during the mid-week. However, on Thursday, the lower limit of the range came down as low as 74.70.
