BDT loses ground against USD

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN) – The Bangladesh Taka (BDT) lost its ground against the US dollar throughout the last week, treasury officials said.

The week started with USD/BDT trading around 74.20 levels and broke the 74.50 level on Tuesday. The last two days observed a similar rally while the USD/BDT broke 75.00 level on Thursday. The week ended with the USD/BDT trading between 74.90-75.05 range.
