BDT strengthens against US dollar

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)– Bangladesh Taka (BDT) has appreciated significantly against the US dollar (USD) in the last week.

The greenback started the week trading at 70.70 BDT, paring gains to the tune of 0.08 to 0.10 BDT per USD from last week’s close, market operators said.

BDT continued to strengthen against the greenback throughout the week and closed the week trading as low as 70.35 BDT per USD.
