Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)– The Bangladesh Taka (BDT) started the week around 70.35 level, treasury officials said.

Throughout the week, the BDT lost ground against the US Dollar (USD). The USD/BDT rate traded as high as at around 70.50 to end the week. The second half saw the largest slide in BDT strength against the Greenback. Most of the deals traded at around 70.45 to 70.50 levels during the last two days of trading.
