BDT weakens against USD

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN) – The Bangladesh Taka (BDT) weakened against the greenback in last week’s trading, treasury officials said.
 
The US Dollar (USD) lost ground against the BDT on Monday and lost further ground on Wednesday.  The USD/BDT started the week at around 75.09 – 75.10 levels and plunged below the 75.00 level on Tuesday.

The USD/BDT trading range went past the 75.00 level on Wednesday in direct USD/BDT trading. On Thursday the Greenback gained further against the BDT to trade around 75.03 to 75.10 range.
