Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)- The Bangladesh Garment Manufactures’ and Exporters Association (BGMEA) will sign a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) on Sunday.
John T. Smith, International Coordinator/Long Term Adviser, Textile & Garments BEST (The Better Works and Standards Programme), UNIDO will be present as the chief guest in the MoU signing ceremony, the BGMEA said.
Under the MoU, the BGMEA and the UNIDO will work jointly towards improving competitiveness and encourage export growth of RMG sector through increased productivity, and compliance with international standard.
