Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)– The Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA) has taken the charge of five children of three Rana Plaza victims.

The trade body will bear all the educational expenses of two children of Ejaz Uddin, who became critically wounded in a fire during rescue operation inside the rubble of Rana Plaza, died in a hospital in Singapore.

The BGMEA will also bear the educational expenses of two children of Executive Director of  Phantom Apparels Tech,  MM Abu Sayeed, who was killed in the Rana Plaza collapse.

The BGMEA has come forward to help Mostafa Kamal, son of Md Ishaq, Head of Production Coordinator, Ether Tex Ltd. Md Ishaq was killed in the tragic collapse of Rana Plaza.

It has made the arrangement for Mostafa Kamal for studying at BGMEA University of Fashion and Technology (BUFT) for free. Besides, Mostafa has been appointed as Junior Executive at the Uttara office of BGMEA.
