Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)- The state-run Biman Bangladesh Airlines is operating 30 flights on its Dhaka-Chittagong-Dhaka and Dhaka-Sylhet-Dhaka domestic routes with large aircraft through its connecting flights of international routes. 
The domestic passengers are traveling on boarding modern and specious aircraft of the national flag carrier through its connecting international flights operated from Dhaka to Middle East via Chittagong and to Middle East and Europe via Sylhet, a Biman announcement said.
Biman has been operating 11 flights in Dhaka- Chittagong, 14 flights in Chittagong-Dhaka and 5-7 flights in Sylhet-Dhaka routes. 
Only Biman is operating specious and large aircraft like DC- 10, Airbus-A310, Boeing 777 and Boeing 737 in the domestic routes in cheap rates than the other private airlines, it added.
The Biman’s airfare in Dhaka-Chittagong and Sylhet-Dhaka routes are BDT 3,500 and BDT 2,800 respectively that are 42 percent less than the other airlines.
On September 19, Biman Bangladesh Airlines declared cancellation of all its domestic flights till November 29 in order to uphold its international flight schedule.
