Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)– Asad Khan, managing director (MD) of Prime Finance and Investment Limited, and Selim RF Hussain, chief executive officer and MD of IDLC Finance Limited, have recently been elected chairman and vice-chairman respectively of the Bangladesh Leasing and Finance Companies Association for a two-year term of 2011-2012 and 2012-2013.
Nine members of the executive committee of the association have also been elected for the same term, a press statement said.
The members of the executive committee are AH Ekbal Hossain, MD of GSP Finance Company ( Bangladesh ) Limited, Abdur Rob, MD of National Housing Finance and Investments Limited, SM Intekhab Alam, MD of Phoenix Finance and Investments Limited, QM Shariful Ala, MD of Delta Brac Housing Finance Corporation Limited, Syed Ehsan Quadir, MD of United Leasing Co Limited, Santanu Saha, MD of Fareast Finance and Investment Limited, Dalil-ul-Haque, MD of People’s Leasing and Financial Services Limited, Proshanta K Halder, MD of Reliance Finance Limited, and Shafique-ul-Azam, MD of MIDAS Financing Limited.
