Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)– Leader of the opposition and BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia on Sunday congratulated the Bangladesh cricket team on their sparkling straight victory in the second one-day international in Khulna against the former world champions West Indies.
Bangladesh recorded their biggest-ever win in ODIs in terms of runs, thrashing formidable West Indies by 160 runs at Sheikh Abu Naser Stadium in Khulna to take a 2-0 lead in the five-match series.
The BNP chief greeted the captain, players, coach, officials and all concerned of the Bangladesh Cricket Board for the great success of the team. “The Tigers will be able to continue their marvelous success in the days to come.”
Earlier, on Friday, Bangladesh beat West Indies by seven wickets.
