Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)– Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) Chairperson Khaleda Zia will lead mass processions in the capital Dhaka on January 29 aiming to aiming to drum up public support for reinstating the caretaker government system.

The decision was finalized in a meeting between leaders of the BNP-led four party alliance and like-minded parties at BNP’s Nayapaltan office Monday night. BNP Acting Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir presided over the meeting.

The procession will start from the BNP’s office and parade different city streets.

Khaleda Zia announced this program at a rally in the country’s port city Chittagong on January 9 this year.
