Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)– Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) Chairperson Khaleda Zia is likely to lead the fourth road march towards port city Chittagong on January 8 to garner people’s support for the opposition’s key demand for holding the next general elections under non-party caretaker government.

The two-day Dhaka-Chittagong caravan of the BNP-led four-party alliance would be launched on January 8, a senior BNP leader said on Saturday.

Earlier, Khaleda had led a two-day-long third road march towards Khulna on November 26 from Dhaka preceded by the Dhaka-Rajshahi road march which took place October 18-19 and the march towards Sylhet which took place October 9-10 this year.
