Khaleda mourns on Koko coffin
Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)-Arafat Rahman Koko, the younger son of BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia, was buried at the Banani graveyard in Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh, Tuesday.
Earlier around 5:10pm, the second namaz-e-janaza of Koko, also the son of late president and BNP founder Ziaur Rahman, was held at Baitul Mukarram National Mosque in Dhaka
Koko’s first janaza was held at Kuala Lumpur on Sunday.
A large number of people including the leaders and activists of the BNP, its political allies and people from different walks of life participated in the second janaza.
Koko, who had been living in Malaysia on parole since 2008, died of heart failure at Kuala Lumpur on Saturday.
Koko’s body was flown in from Malaysia at 11:40pm and was taken straight to the Gulshan office of Khaleda.
Khaleda could not hold her seeing her lifeless and mourned on the coffin for nearly 30 minutes.

The body was kept there for nearly two hours for the party leaders to pay their respects.

Koko’s elder brother, BNP’s Senior Vice-Chairman Tarique Rahman, who has been staying in London since his parole in 2008 took part in a Gayebana Janaza in East London.
