BNP demands inquiry into fire incident at shoe factory in Dhaka

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)– BNP secretary general Khandaker Delwar Hossain has expressed deep shock at the loss of lives and property in a devastating fire at a shoe factory in the capital Dhaka on Wednesday.

At least seven people were killed in the fire.

The BNP secretary general in a condolence message prayed for the souls who died in the fire and conveyed sympathy to the bereaved families.

Mr. Hossain demanded compensation to the families of the victims and proper treatment to the injured. He also demanded an inquiry into the fire incident, according to reports.
