BNP high-ups meet Tuesday

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)- BNP Standing Committee, the highest policymaking body of the party, meets at its Chairperson Khaleda Zia’s office in the capital, Dhaka on Tuesday.

Expansion of the four-party alliance and agitation programs might get priority at the meeting, the party insiders said.

The issue of deciding whether to parliament might be put on back burner, as some influential leaders want to continue boycotting the parliament, according to reports.  

Earlier on Saturday, BNP Secretary General Khandaker Delwar Hossain said his party would discuss the issue at Tuesday’s meeting.
