London, England (BBN) – The Bank of England (BOE)’s trends in lending report on Thursday showed that net lending to U.K. businesses edged up in November but remained subdued, while provisional unadjusted data showed that broad money supply contracted in December 2009, supporting the view that monetary policy will stay loose for some time.
